SEAN'S BIO
Sean began playing during his high school days in Boston at the age of 15. By 1984 he was playing the bass for audiences around the northeastern Michigan area. Within a few years of self-teaching, he switched to guitar and began a two man acoustic band, singing and playing in bars and coffeehouses every week.

For the last 20 years, he has performed in several electric and acoustic bands around Michigan & West Virginia. Heavily influenced by the guitar styles of Jerry Garcia, Eric Clapton, Neil Young, Bob Dylan and Mississippi John Hurt, as well as the mandolin virtuosity of David Grisman.

Sean ’ s enthusiasm for music led him to work at Herb David's Guitar Studio, in downtown Ann Arbor, where he currently teaches guitar, mandolin and bass. His skills and versatility keep him in great demand.
